MSG-3 Engineering

iAccess Technologies provides guidance and support in the development of the Aircraft Maintenance Program for the world class Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ).

The iAccess MRJ Team not only performs MSG-3 System Analysis, but is currently training the Mitsubishi Aircraft Team in this industry standard process on all aircraft systems and structure including electrical power, lightning/HIRF, avionics, hydraulics, phneumatics, air conditioning, flight controls, fuel system, autopilot, structures, engines and APU.

MSG-3 is the method aircraft manufacturers, operators, and regulators use to develop the manufacturer's initial maintenance schedule, as part of aircraft certification. As part of the regulator's requirements for continued airworthiness, the iAccess MRJ Team supports Mitsubishi in presentation of these analyses to teams of airline and regulatory personnel during Working Groups (WG)meetings and facilitates the Industry Steering Committees (ISC) meetings.

This support assists our customer in obtaining regulatory approval for their Maintenance Review Board Report (MRBR) that every MRJ operator will use as the basis of their optimized maintenance program. The MRJ applies cutting edge design technology to reduce fuel consumption and applies the principles of MSG-3 to optimize maintenance; both resulting in lower operating costs for their customers.
